Harvest Baptist Church urges you to “Seek the LORD while he may be found.” Isaiah 55:6a
Why seek the LORD?
… because we are all sinners
Romans 3:23 -‘For all sinned, and come short of the glory of God’
… because sin separates us from God
Isaiah 59:2 -‘But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.’
… because Jesus the Saviour is seeking the sinner
Luke 19:10 -‘For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which is lost’
… because Jesus died to save sinners
I Timothy 1:15 -‘This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.’
… because eternal life today determines tomorrow’s eternity
Revelation 20:15 -‘And whosoever was not found written in the book of Life was cast into the lake of fire’
… because time does run out!
